FAQ & Wholesale Policies

FAQ & Wholesale Policies

Ordering & Samples

Q: Do you offer single-piece samples for testing?

A: We do not ship single-piece samples. For testing, we recommend ordering The Discovery Carton, our 12-piece mixed sample box, or starting with one wholesale case of 12 vessels. This allows you to evaluate glass weight, finish, wax adhesion, wick selection, photography fit, packaging, and brand presentation before scaling.

Q: What is your minimum order quantity (MOQ)?

A: For in-stock products, the MOQ is one case, with 12 vessels per case. The Discovery Carton is also sold as a 12-piece sample box. For custom sourcing, custom colors, logos, packaging, or exclusive production runs, MOQ varies by project and is typically higher. Contact us for details.

Q: Do I need to apply before ordering?

A: No. In-stock cases and Discovery Cartons can be ordered directly online. Use our Wholesale Support page if you need volume pricing, pallet delivery, tax-exempt purchasing, custom sourcing, or help planning a larger collection.

Product Specifications & Vessel Fit

Q: Are all vessels the same size?

A: No. Most of our core in-stock collection follows an 8x9cm profile with an approx. 8 oz ideal wax fill. However, some specialty vessels have different profiles, including the Sculptural Face Series at approx. 3.5 oz and the Wabi-Sabi Fold Series at approx. 6.5 oz. Please review each product page before ordering.

Q: What size lids fit your vessels?

A: Most of our 8x9cm vessels are compatible with standard 80mm candle lids. However, lids are not included, and some specialty vessels are designed without lids. Sculptural Face, Wabi-Sabi Fold, and Sculpted Jewel are not compatible with standard 80mm lids. Please check each product page for vessel-specific closure notes.

Q: What is the actual wax fill weight?

A: Many of our core 8x9cm vessels are designed around an approx. 8 oz ideal wax fill. Specialty vessels may differ. Fill weight can also vary depending on wax blend, fragrance load, wick selection, and desired fill line. We recommend testing before production.

Q: Are the vessels candle-ready?

A: Our vessels are designed for candle makers, but every candle formula is different. We strongly recommend conducting your own wax, wick, fragrance load, adhesion, and burn testing before production or resale.

Q: How should I handle and clean the vessels in my studio?

A: Handle vessels with care during production and avoid abrasive cleaning tools. For decorative finishes, raised textures, cut-out designs, metallic effects, or printed artwork, avoid prolonged direct heat on the exterior surface and use a soft cloth for cleanup when possible.

Shipping & Claims Policy

Q: How is shipping calculated?

A: Shipping is calculated at checkout based on order value, destination, and address type. Standard ground shipping starts at $14.99 for eligible orders within the contiguous United States. Free FedEx Ground is available on orders over $120, and free LTL pallet delivery is available on orders $800+ within the contiguous United States.

Q: Where do orders ship from?

A: In-stock orders ship from our California warehouse.

Q: Do you ship outside the contiguous United States?

A: Standard online checkout is currently available for the contiguous United States. For Alaska, Hawaii, international shipments, or special freight needs, please contact wholesale@versevesselco.com for a custom quote.

Q: What happens if my order arrives damaged or short?

A: If an item arrives damaged or your order has a quantity discrepancy, contact us within 5 days of delivery at wholesale@versevesselco.com.

Please include your order number, photos of the damaged item(s), photos of the outer carton, and photos of the inner packaging or protective inserts. Keep the damaged item(s), carton, and packaging until your claim is resolved.

Approved claims may be resolved through a refund, store credit, or another appropriate resolution. For partial case damage, we generally do not ship individual replacement vessels due to parcel shipping cost and breakage risk.
