Wholesale Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Verse & Vessel Co. By placing a wholesale order, purchasing a Discovery Carton, or submitting a wholesale support request, you agree to the following business-to-business terms and conditions.

1. Minimum Order Quantity & Pricing

For in-stock products, our minimum order quantity is one case, with 12 vessels per case. The Discovery Carton is sold as a 12-piece mixed sample box.

We do not sell loose, single-piece vessels.

Wholesale pricing is displayed online and may vary by product, volume, promotion, or custom quote. Prices are subject to change due to material, production, freight, or market conditions.

2. Discovery Carton & Sampling

We recommend new customers begin with The Discovery Carton or a single case before placing larger volume orders.

The Discovery Carton allows makers to evaluate glass weight, finish, wax adhesion, wick selection, photography fit, packaging, and brand presentation before scaling.

The $49 Discovery Carton product cost can be credited toward your first wholesale order over $500. Shipping charges are not included in the sample credit.

3. Product Specifications & Manufacturing Tolerances

Most of our core in-stock vessels follow an 8x9cm profile with an approx. 8 oz ideal wax fill. Specialty vessels may vary by series, including smaller or organic no-lid designs. Please review each product page for exact specifications.

Because glass vessels are manufactured through molded glass, finishing, coating, printing, electroplating, or decorative processes, minor variations may occur.

Acceptable variations may include slight differences in:

Glass thickness
Weight
Color tone
Finish intensity
Pattern placement
Small bubbles
Mold lines or seams
Surface texture

These normal production characteristics are not considered defects unless they affect the vessel’s usability or structural integrity.

4. Candle Testing Responsibility

Our vessels are designed for candle makers, but every candle formula is different.

The buyer is responsible for testing each vessel with their own wax blend, fragrance load, wick selection, fill weight, curing process, labeling, packaging, and burn conditions before production or resale.

Verse & Vessel Co. is not responsible for the performance, safety, labeling compliance, or resale use of finished candle products made by the buyer.

5. Shipping, Lead Times & Freight

Most in-stock orders are processed within 1-3 business days after order confirmation, excluding weekends and holidays.

Larger orders requiring LTL freight or pallet delivery may require additional preparation time for pallet wrapping and freight scheduling.

Standard online checkout is currently available for the contiguous United States. For Alaska, Hawaii, international shipments, or special freight needs, please contact wholesale@versevesselco.com for a custom quote.

6. Damages, Shortages & Claims

If an item arrives damaged or your order has a quantity discrepancy, contact us within 5 days of delivery at wholesale@versevesselco.com.

Claims must include:

Your order number
Photos of the damaged item(s)
Photos of the outer carton
Photos of the inner packaging or protective inserts
A brief description of the issue

Please keep the damaged item(s), carton, and packaging until your claim is resolved.

Approved claims may be resolved through a refund, store credit, or another appropriate resolution at our discretion. For partial case damage, we generally do not ship individual replacement vessels due to parcel shipping cost and breakage risk.

7. Returns

Eligible unused items may be returned within 14 days of delivery, subject to our Refund Policy.

Returned items must be unused, unfilled, unburned, unaltered, and securely packed in their original master carton and protective packaging.

The buyer is responsible for return shipping costs and carrier arrangements for non-defective returns.

Custom orders, custom finishes, custom logos, special sourcing orders, used vessels, altered vessels, and items tested in candle production are not eligible for return.

8. Cancellations

Order cancellation requests must be submitted as soon as possible after purchase.

If fulfillment has not yet begun, we will do our best to cancel the order. Once an order has entered fulfillment, been packed, or shipped, it cannot be canceled and must follow the return process if eligible.

9. Custom Sourcing & Special Orders

Custom sourcing, larger or smaller vessel capacities, custom colors, logos, decals, packaging, or special production requests may require separate quotes, higher MOQs, deposits, longer lead times, and written approval.

Custom and special orders are final sale unless otherwise agreed in writing.
